Dry-shake Series
Concentrate DS-1 is formulated specifically for waterproofing and to provide protection from aggressive chemicals. Concentrate DS-2 provides these same properties but additionally enhances the abrasion resistance by incorporating a hardener.

Packaging
Xypex DS-1 and DS-2 are available in 60 lb. (27.2 kg) pails.
Coverage
Under normal conditions, the coverage rate for Xypex DS-1 is 1.75 lb./sq. yd. (0.95 kg/m2) and the coverage rate for DS-2 is 6.75 – 7.5 lb./sq. yd. (3.6 – 4.0 kg/m2), depending on the degree of abrasion resistance required.
Storage
Xypex products must be stored dry at a minimum temperature of 45ºF (7ºC). Shelf life is one year when stored under proper conditions.

Graphisoft Park, Office Building ”I” – STARTUP HOUSE
Graphisoft Park is situated on the Danube's shores, nestled within an 18-hectare expanse of greenery. Initially home to global giants such as Microsoft, Graphisoft, SAP, and Servier, the park has also attracted a diverse mix of small startups and research and development firms.
The Fordham Condominium Building
Xypex Concentrate DS-1 was used to treat the balcony structures on The Fordham Condominium Building located two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. DS-1 was to provide, in addition to waterproofing and crack sealing capabilities, chloride protection due to close proximity to the ocean.
The Elysian Condominium Building
The balconies of the Elysian at Deerfield Beach required protection from chloride attack due to the building’s beach front location. Xypex Concentrate DS-1 was specified and selected to waterproof and protect the structures.
Union City Body Co. Plant Expansion
Xypex Concentrate DS-2 was applied to 200,000 sq. ft. of a General Motors plant floor. The production facility makes truck chasis and the Xypex was used to protect the floor from oils and cooling fluids. This was a fast track project which required that 35,000 sq. ft. of slab be placed every day.
Textile Factory
Xypex Concentrate DS-2 was applied to the foundation slab of this structure.

Duracell Battery Warehouse
Xypex Dry-Shake was applied to the floor of the distribution warehouse to prevent water permeating up through the slab. A total of 1,375 pails of Xypex Concentrate DS-2 was used to improve the resistance of the concrete surface to heavy forklift traffic.
Union City Body Co. Plant Expansion
Xypex Concentrate DS-2 was applied to 200,000 sq. ft. of a General Motors plant floor. The production facility makes truck chassis, and Xypex was used to protect the floor from oils and cooling fluids. This fast-track project required 35,000 sq. ft. of the slab to be placed daily.
Beechworth Honey Factory
Xypex Admix C-Series was specified in the base slab of the Beechworth honey farms manufacturing warehouse. To increase the surface protection from this aggressive environment Xypex applied a half dose of Xypex Concentrate DS-1 to the surface for addition protection for long term durability against abrasion.
Townhouses – 28th and Madison
The developer requested Xypex Admix C-1000, however, due to the topping deck being very thin in many places, the Xypex representative recommended an alternate Xypex system: cracks were treated with Xypex Concentrate, with Xypex Concentrate DS-1 as the primary waterproofing feature.
Belmont Water Treatment Plant
To better fit the construction schedule, Xypex was used instead of a membrane. Xypex Admix C-1000 was used to waterproof the walls and Xypex Concentrate DS-1 to waterproof the floors.
Beograd Parking Structure
This below-ground parking structure was waterproofed with a two-coat application of Xypex Concentrate and Modified. Xypex Dry-Shake was applied to the base slab of this parking structure which is located 12 m below ground level.
