Baldwin Water Treatment Plant

A total combined area of 27,900 m2 (300,000 sq. ft.) received the Xypex application at the three plants. The decision to use the Xypex system for this project was based not only on the ability of Xypex to waterproof the concrete structures, but also the ability to provide chemical protection from alum which is used in the filter units.

Xypex products were specified by the Cleveland Dept. of Public Utilities for use on a major filter rehabilitation project covering the Baldwin, Division and Crown Water Treatment Plants located in the City of Cleveland.
