The new Taichung Metropolitan Opera House in central Taiwan is a national performing arts centre with a unique design. With multiple theatres and rehearsal spaces, the building houses innovative design concepts such as the Sound Cave – an architecturally interesting and acoustically pleasing space connecting the Arts Plaza with workshops, restaurants and other spaces. Xypex Concentrate was used for waterproofing and protection of below grade foundations structures and water holding tanks, along with repairs for concrete defects.
