Operating in a fertilizer production environment, the clarifiers, tanks, non-sterilizer units, and ammonia and urea units face continuous exposure to water ingress and aggressive chemical attacks, conditions that demanded a durable, internally integrated solution rather than a surface barrier vulnerable to degradation.

Xypex crystalline technology was selected for the full scope of waterproofing works, with 48 tons of Xypex Concentrate applied across the structures and 3 tons of Xypex Admix C-1000 NF integrated into new concrete. The Xypex Concentrate treatment penetrated the portion of the structures where it was applied and the Xypex Admix C-1000NF became a permanent part of the concrete matrix, sealing it from within against both water and chemical exposure.
