65 Central Park West
The property at 65 Central Park West underwent basement waterproofing rehabilitation to address water intrusion through foundation walls constructed more than one hundred years ago. The scope focused on negative side waterproofing of historic brick foundation walls where exterior access was not feasible.
Tribute Restoration completed the work using trowel applied methods. Approximately 80 bags of Xypex Megamix II were used to restore deteriorated masonry surfaces. Crack repairs and localized defect sealing were completed using Xypex Patch’n Plug, followed by application of Xypex Concentrate to provide crystalline waterproofing protection across the treated wall areas.
Xypex provided method statements outlining correct surface preparation and application procedures for brick substrates and slab-to-wall transitions. The completed system delivered effective negative side waterproofing while preserving the integrity of the historic foundation and extending the service life of the structure without requiring exterior excavation.
