Aquarium with Ocean Fauna – Hotel Ramada Târgu Jiu

This ambitious project, designed by a specialized engineering team from Turkey, requires extreme precision in waterproofing due to the sensitive nature of the aquatic environment and the immense hydrostatic pressure involved in supporting large scale marine tanks. The first major phase of construction, completed in July 2025, involved the casting of a massive 2,500 m² foundation slab (radier).

To ensure a permanently dry and structurally sound foundation for the future ocean tanks, Xypex Admix C-1000NF was used to waterproof the concrete. The additive was applied via partial dosage according to the specific technical requirements of the design. This integral crystalline solution ensures that the foundation remains protected against water ingress from the start, providing a secure base for the upcoming superstructure and the complex marine habitats to follow.
