Given its coastal location and immediate proximity to the sea, the project faced significant challenges from high groundwater levels.

Ensuring the structural integrity and dry operation of the underground parking facility was a critical priority for the development. To protect the structure, Xypex Admix was selected for the integral waterproofing of the underground parking floor. This solution provides full-depth protection by forming a non-soluble crystalline structure within the concrete, effectively blocking water ingress under high hydrostatic pressure.
Beyond the admixture, all construction joint waterproofing solutions were custom designed to meet strict Xypex Admix requirements. To ensure maximum success and quality control, a Xypex representative provided regular on-site supervision throughout the application process. This comprehensive approach ensures that the medical center remains protected and functional despite the demanding coastal conditions.
