ENKA SA was appointed as the main contractor to execute both structural repairs and a long-term waterproofing solution. The scope of work involved repairing the 2,830 m2 surface using shotcrete to restore structural integrity.
Following the repairs, Xypex Concentrate was applied in a single layer over the entire surface area. Utilizing more than 2,500 kg of product, the crystalline application provides a permanent shield against rain water and corrosive salt-water spray, ensuring the silo remains protected and durable against future environmental damage.
