Historic Building in City Centre
Xypex materials were used to restore the basement of a historic building in the centre of Kyiv. This building was constructed in the late 19th century and has been periodically restored.
The basement leaked after rain and snowmelt, which meant that this space remained unused for a long time. The company that has its office in this building decided to restore the basement for use as a shelter, choosing Xypex materials as the best solution for this purpose. Concrete slabs and floors were treated with Xypex Concentrate and Patch and Plug repair compound, while brick walls were covered with cement plaster and treated with Xypex Concentrate. The effectiveness of waterproofing with Xypex materials was confirmed by the fact that the basement remained dry even after heavy rains.
