Mighty Argo Cable Car (Argo Gondola)

The new aerial gondola system connects the Argo Mill and Tunnel site within the Virginia Canyon Mountain Park. The project requires a strong concrete foundation to support tower structures, ensuring gondola safety.

Rising 1,300 vertical feet in a mountainous environment, the project must account for groundwater, precipitation and seasonal freeze-thaw cycles.

Pine Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Pine Creek Wastewater Treatment facility was upgrading its primary and secondary clarifying tanks and bioreactor cells and faced concerns about the aggressive sewage.

To protect their concrete structures from the harsh environment and chemicals, they implemented Concentre and Modified for the first phase of the upgrade, followed by Admix C-500 for the second phase.

The strategic use of these products highlights a comprehensive approach to concrete protection, ultimately extending the lifespan of the structures and reducing maintenance costs.

Suzano Cerrado

The Suzano Cerrado Project is the largest single-line pulp production facility in the world, spanning 4.5 million square meters.

Given its exposure to moisture and chemicals, the main concern was ensuring its durability and longevity.

To tackle these challenges, Xypex Admix and Concentrate were integrated to resist the penetration of sulphate and chloride and reduce water ingress. This proactive approach provides long-term protection from the outset.
