Celebrating the opening of Xypex Germany GmbH and honoring the leaders who brought it to life

Today, we mark two extraordinary milestones for Xypex Chemical Corporation: the official opening of Xypex Germany GmbH, our new manufacturing facility in Parchim, Germany, and the recognition of three exceptional leaders whose dedication brought it to life.

Xypex Germany GmbH was founded in March 2025 with an ambitious vision: to establish a state-of-the-art Xypex manufacturing presence in Europe and better serve our growing customer base across the EMEA and CIS regions.

Shortly after the company was founded, Ata Başaran, Regional Vice President for EMEA & CIS, and Martin Mottl, Technical Services Manager for EMEA & CIS, relocated from Canada to Parchim to lead the establishment of our newest company on the ground. They were soon joined by Tjark Wübbeler, who took on the role of Operations Manager, and together the three of them formed the leadership team responsible for turning that vision into reality.

Construction commenced in August 2025. By January 2026, the facility was successfully producing Xypex products, a remarkable achievement in an extraordinarily short timeframe. From site selection and planning through to construction, commissioning, and production readiness, the team led every stage of the project with exceptional dedication, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The result is a facility that sets a new benchmark for customer service, innovation, and manufacturing efficiency, and one that will support Xypex customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and CIS for many years to come.

In recognition of this remarkable accomplishment, we are proud to present Ata Başaran, Martin Mottl, and Tjark Wübbeler with the Xypex Outstanding Achievement Award. Their leadership has laid the foundation for an exciting new chapter for Xypex in Europe, and their work reflects the values that have driven our company forward for over 50 years.
