Xypex Course - On-line & Free
Xypex Crystalline Technology is now available to architects in a free on-line course through AEC Daily
September 06, 2007
Click here to take the course.
As part of its distance-learning program, Xypex, through AEC daily, now offers Architects an alternate way of learning about Xypex crystalline technology and its ever-expanding role in the field of concrete waterproofing, protection and durability.
Free and on-line, the course is fully accredited. Architects can earn one AIA/CES Learning Unit and the course also qualifies for HSW. AEC Daily reports Learning Units on members’ behalf.
As with our other continuing education platforms, this course focuses on the following features: - How crystalline technology works within concrete (rather than on the surface) to more effectively waterproof the structure.
- The difference between porosity, permeability, and the mechanics by which water is absorbed through concrete structures.
- How crystalline waterproofing technology improves the durability of concrete structures and reduces maintenance.
- How crystalline admixtures waterproof concrete from the start thereby accelerating construction schedules with significant cost-saving results.
- Highlighting product applications for various types of concrete construction.
