We are performing a renovation on an existing home with no vapor barrier below the slab grade in Boca Raton, FL.  We intend to place porcelain floor tile on a bathroom floor set in thin set.

There was a previous section in this home where a similar job was performed in the past and it is problematic, as the moisture condenses on the underside of the porcelain tile and wicks to the grout joints causing efflorescence at the grout joints.
We are trying to stop any moisture transmission through the slab.

Which Xypex product or combination of products can do this.

There is some evidence that Xypex slows vapour transmission but
does not stop it.  Xypex is not a vapour barrier.  Given the issues you have had in previous
projects I would suggest you look for another solution.  Schluder makes some impermeable, under tile
membranes that might work I would suggest giving them a contact.
