This master work of Uruguayan artist Severino Pose (1894-1964) was
restored and moved from the original location to San Antonio capuchin convent
      in Montevideo.

An important measure was the superficial treatment with Xypex. in order
to repair and prevent the advancing carbonation, in the maritime atmosphere of

Twenty years later, Saint Francis, the stars, the birds, the flowers,
the fruits, the water, the snails and even the Gubbio´s wolf are fine; the Xypex
surface has darkened to an attractive gray that highlights the smooth lines of
      the sculptor.

the master artists’ works for future generations.
